Kojo X. Johnson began studying Capoeira in 1988 with Nana Kweku Sakyi in Washington DC. In 1993 he dedicated himself to the study of Capoeira Angola under Mestre Cobra Mansa. It was through Mestre Cobra Mansa and Mestre Moraes that he was first introduced to the world of Capoeira in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil in 1994. Curt Cunningham has over 11 years experience in comprehensive instruction in the visual arts, including watercolors, oil painting, and mixed media projects. Born Tarik Davis, a talented writer and musician, was born and raised in Northwest Washington, DC. At an early age, he exhibited his musical potential as a vocalist and musician.
